I download before some publishing tool and i use it to publish my web pages to the web it always have many different kind of problems,either disconnet or invalid name but while i use the web hosting it is much easier no need to download and have no problem so may i know what is the different between hosting and publishing ?

Hosting means that you’re locally keeping the web pages on a server that is accessible from the outside, i.e. from outside your network. Publishing means that there’s some other server that you remotely log into, upload your pages, and then that server hosts your pages, effectively allowing you to publish your pages.
